Sean has been tattooing professionally since 1989 and is the original founder of Darkside Tattoo. With decades of experience, he specializes in large, custom pieces and maintains extensive portfolios both in the shop and online. Whether working in bold color or black and gray, Sean’s focus is always on creating the perfect tattoo for each individual client.

Dave is a highly versatile tattoo artist who excels in black and gray, color work, and photorealism. He takes pride in his adaptability and skill across a wide range of styles, ensuring every client’s vision is brought to life with precision and artistry.

In recent years, Dave has focused on creating large-scale pieces, including full sleeves and backpieces, where his attention to detail truly stands out. He is also highly regarded for his portrait work—both human and animal—demonstrating his dedication to producing realistic, lifelike tattoos that capture depth and emotion.

Unleashing the power of creativity through ink and skin, Ember Cesar is a passionate and highly skilled tattoo artist specializing in realism. With a deep love for art and a profound appreciation of the human form, Ember creates breathtaking, lifelike tattoos that push the boundaries of traditional body art.

His career has taken him around the world, allowing him to refine his craft and draw inspiration from diverse artistic influences. We’re thrilled that Ember has found his way to Darkside Tattoo, where he’s now an integral part of our family.

Dan joined Darkside Tattoo in 2016 and has been tattooing for over 15 years. While his primary focus is on American Traditional tattoos, his versatility and expertise allow him to excel in a wide range of styles.

Dan’s experience and dedication shine through in every piece he creates, combining technical precision with timeless artistry. He is currently working part-time, so be sure to check with us for his current availability before booking.

Nick has been tattooing since 1998 and was a valued member of the Darkside Tattoo family many years ago. We’re thrilled to welcome him back to the team, bringing with him decades of experience and a passion for the craft.

Nick is a highly skilled and versatile artist, excelling in all styles of tattooing and dedicated to creating work that reflects each client’s unique vision.

Joe joined the Darkside Tattoo family in 2023, completing his apprenticeship right here at the shop. A lifelong artist and close friend of Sean for over 15 years, it’s been a pleasure to see his creative journey evolve into the world of tattooing.

Now fully licensed as of 2025, Joe is eager to make his mark in the tattoo industry and continue building his own clientele, bringing passion, precision, and originality to every piece he creates.

Bella is our apprentice and the newest member of the Darkside Tattoo family. She began her tattoo apprenticeship in 2025, and we’re excited to watch her grow and evolve as an artist.

A graduate of the University of Hartford with a BFA in Illustration, Bella brings a strong artistic foundation to her tattoo journey. She is currently refining her skills on practice skin while learning the techniques, discipline, and approach required to excel as a professional tattoo artist.

Melinda has been a professional piercer since 2015 and takes great pride in creating a comfortable, welcoming experience for every client who walks through the doors at Darkside Tattoo. Her friendly approach and attention to detail ensure that each piercing is done with care, precision, and professionalism.
